Where to find your APK

Why do I see “Install unknown apps”?+
This is a normal Android security permission when installing apps from outside Google Play.
- Tap Settings → enable Allow from this source for your browser.
- After installation, you can disable it again.
Download didn’t start — what should I do?+
- Tap Download again (it counts as a user action and works better).
- If you’re in Facebook/Instagram, tap Open in Chrome then download again.
- Check your network and storage space, then try again.
I downloaded it, but can’t find the APK+
- Pull down the notification bar and tap the download.
- Or open Files / Downloads and look for .apk.
- Some phones save it under Internal storage/Download.
Google Play Protect warning+
Play Protect may show a warning for apps installed outside Play. If you trust the source, you can continue.
- Open Google Play → profile icon → Play Protect → scan.
- After installing, you can keep Play Protect enabled.
